Netflix has confirmed that Stranger Things season five will be the final installment of the popular sci-fi series. Matt and Ross Duffer, creators of Stranger Things, also revealed that season five will premiere on Netflix in 2020 and will consist of eight episodes. Showrunners Ross and Matt took to social media with a video message to their fans announcing that it is time for Stranger Things to come to an end.
