Stranger Things Season 5 is the latest season of the Netflix series that follows a group of kids in the 1980s who become involved in a mystery involving supernatural forces and government experiments. The main cast includes Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, and Joe Keery.

The show was created by Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer (who also wrote for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse). It’s based on the book series of the same name by author Stephen King.

Stranger Things Season 5 will premiere on Netflix at a date still to be confirmed. There’s no word yet on when it’ll air on Sky Atlantic in the UK or other countries outside North America.

Stranger Things Season 5 release date: Is there a release date?

There’s a lot of uncertainty about the next season of Stranger Things, but one thing is certain: We’ll be getting more of the Duffer brothers’ love letter to the 1980s.

When will Stranger Things Season 5 release date be? It’s not clear if the second half of 2023 will see a release date or not, but there have been plenty of rumours floating around about what we can expect from season five.

We’re still waiting on official word from Netflix on when Stranger Things Season 5 will air — and whether or not it’ll be split into two parts — but we do know that Netflix won’t announce anything until they’re sure they can deliver 100 per cent of their fans’ expectations.

Will Stranger Things Season 5 have a premiere date? If you’re looking for news on Stranger Things Season 5’s premiere date, then you’re in luck! The show’s producers have confirmed that there will be new episodes in 2019 at least (with some speculation that this may mean we will see new episodes in 2020). It appears that we’ll have to wait for some time in 2020 for more new episodes before we.

However, recent reports suggest that a 2024 release date is the earliest timeframe for Season 5. That fans should prepare themselves for the finale to debut either at the end of that year or even in 2025.

Stranger Things Season 5 cast: Who’s returning for the final season?

The Stranger Things crew is getting ready to wrap production on their final season — and it’s going to be a big one! We’re all hoping that this will be the last time we see these characters in their natural habitat, but unfortunately, no one knows if that’s true.

Fortunately, Netflix has been tight-lipped about which actors will return for Stranger Things Season 5. However, there are some clues that help narrow down the list of possible cast members who could return in 2019.

Perhaps the most exciting news is that Winona Ryder will be back as Joyce Byers (aka Eleven’s mother), having been confirmed by Netflix themselves as well as her Instagram account. This would make sense considering she was also confirmed for Stranger Things Season 4 before it even aired.

It also appears that Millie Bobby Brown will continue playing Eleven for at least another season — she recently announced her return date on Instagram.

Stranger Things Season 5 plot: What will it be about?

The show is set in the 1980s and revolves around a boy, Will Byers (Noah Schnapp), who vanishes after being attacked by what he believes to be a creature from another dimension. His mother, Joyce (Winona Ryder), and local deputy sheriff Hopper (David Harbour) search for Will, whom they believe may be a victim of supernatural forces. They enlist the help of Will’s friends, Mike Wheeler (Finn Wolfhard), Lucas Sinclair (Caleb McLaughlin) and Dustin Henderson (Gaten Matarazzo), and an unlikely cast of characters to help them.

Stranger Things Season 5 will follow the series’ familiar format: an ensemble cast that includes several young actors alongside older actors who carry the main narrative. The plot will focus on what happened to Will before he disappeared and how his disappearance affects everyone else at Hawkins Middle School during those events.
